Should I counter attack?

The only counter attack you should make is to oppose his argument with reliable sources (or provide reliable sources for his argument if you agree with it).

You didn't do anything wrong unless you called him out like "LOL OMG WikiFail You mad?"

You did come off pretty immature in the way you told him Wiki is not a reliable source.

You couldve said the same thing in a slightly more respectful matter, especially if you want the teacher to side with you.

Anyone around the world can edit Wikipedia.
And the edit will be deleted within the hour.

You should of looked at what was cited in the article. Often time it links directly to things like encyclopedias and scientific journals.

the only way you should have approached him is come across w/ actual facts. you stated called him out on the wiki situation. back up your argument.

you did not further to express your thoughts on the actual topic is where you had lost. being that it is a school bulletin board, you are wasting a lot ofpeoples time.

type up a fake wikipedia page about him, put him on blast, and then link him to the made up wiki page
