DMan14: Good point, but I think that was moreso great team defense as opposed to one singledefender (although Tayshaun's length bothers Kobe at times). But yeah...the Pistons defense on him in the Finals is probably the best one team has donethroughout the course of a series...

i used to hate Battier just for being from Duke. But he got my respect now making Kobe work for his shots. Definitely would want him on my team

Kobe is shooting the same % he did all season this series the same as the 1st round and averaging damn near 30pts per game 4pts higher than his regular seasonnumbers and people are acting like this guy is doing something.

If he wasn't doing anything I doubt the Lakers would be headed to game seven right now.

I remember Kobe lighting up Battier's @+* in Memphis.
I think Tayshaun Prince has done the best job defending Kobe since he's been in the league. Battier has made Kobe work hard the past 2-3 years though.

The bump from Patterson made Kobes pivot foot slide. So you either call the bump or the travel, in the refs case, you dont call anything and letthem play.Originally Posted by bangtcg
