Anyone here use Mucinex D  for the pain around the eye and sensitive to the light?  i already tried the steam in the shower

I've never used Mucinex, but I'm pretty sure that nostril thing that looks like a tea pot works pretty well.

Sinus pain+ sensitivity to light?
I think you have a migraine fam. How often do you get these?

If its mild, you should look into taking some Ecedrin Migraine, Advil, Tylenol, OTC pain-reliever stuff. If it continues to occur or gets worse, look to your doctor for some Imitrex.

i just got a little sensitve to the light, but before this happened i sort of had a congestion

usually i will get this if i have too much chocolate and caffeine

It's probably a migraine, too much caffeine can trigger a migraine (but it also helps to relieve migraine and headache pain), just depends.

Lay off the caffeine for a bit and see if you still get the light sensitivity and pain around the eye. The congestion could be unrelated, take a decongestant, drink plenty of fluids, and see if it clears up.

I had some awful migraines recently, couldn't open my eyes or even get out of bed (and had eye pain in addition to extreme sensitivity), then I bought the generic/store-brand Excedrin Extra Strength Migraine/Headache and that worked like a charm.

Yeah chocolate and caffeine are well-known precipitates for causing acute migraines

Like I said, try out some of the simple otc NSAIDS.
