I turned the channel when he said he'd be required to wear a parachute. I know he didn't plan on using it but it would've added to the suspense. Glad he didn't die.

I want to know how much that costs. To set up all that, get permits, a plane, 4 dudes to watch you. People just got disposable income to almost kill themselves? I'm getting old

The commentators said that but then a second later said he didn't have to wear it after all and didn't wear one.

Cool. Didn't happen like that on my end. I just heard him say he would wear it because it was required and then they cut to a promo on his preparation.

Well he was an avid skydiver so he already had a connection/buddies. I wouldn't be surprised if the people that jumped besides him were his friends. The plane just a regular skydive plane. I guess the only real cost would be the permits and the net to catch him, then contacting someone to broadcast it.

He's a famous stunt guy. Sponsors and the network probably paid for it. He was rocking that Stride gum jumpsuit. Surprised this wasn't a red bull event.
