Skydiving? Worth it?

Anyone here gone skydiving? been thinking about for a few years, now i have chance to go.. Bunch of ppl told me its worth it and whatnot
I just want to know the negative things bout it.

I'll probably do it for my birthday this summer.  Always wanted to do it.  I wish there were nicer locations near me though.

Always wanted to try it, in large part because of Tommy in the Power Rangers movie. Wanna work my way up to whatever that was (skyboarding? paraskiing? aerial ace?).

I've done it and I have nothing negative to say. It was amazing and worth every penny. Definitely do it.

Obviously the worst is you die. Other than that in my case my chute was packed not exactly correct so when the cord was pulled it jerked us really really hard.  My back was sore the next day but nothing too bad.

i did those fake ones where ur in a room and a airplane engine. the high and rush was pretty awesome even it was short. if j had a chance id definately try the real thing.

I was down until I read that story last week about the couple that went
skydiving on their anniversary. Anyways, the instructor dropped the
woman 1000 feet to her death then swallowed the memory card to the
video that was filming the event. I am no longer down, Ill stick to cliff
diving thank you.
