Its obvious he is ALWAYS on something. Who cares what a druggie says?! Racism is still alive, but through EVERYONE. I would say that most of the people on this planet have some racist qualities about them. And seriously the only things holding blacks back right now is other blacks.

my second sentence said "there is no single injustice that denies a majority of blacks their civil liberties." and there isn't. racism is alive and well but at this point in our history there is nothing that blatant and detrimental to the culture on a mass scale.

I dunno what world you're living in, but racism is alive and kickin. Once you get out your teens and grow up you'll realize.

It's no longer about that blatant in your face, spit on you and call you ****** racism, but the subtle, might slip by if you ain't paying attention racism is everywhere.

There's a reason our communities are in the situation they are now and it's not just because we're lazy.

Anyways, Wayne's a ****, if he's "smart" enough to know who Till was and what happened to him, he's smart enough to know better than to use his name in that way. I wish the rappers would stop being vaginas and call out other rappers when they do **** like this, because I KNOW everybody in the hip-hop community is cool with this, they just don't wanna offended rap's biggest "star" smh

They're all offensive and all lame rappers should be addressed for using them, but nothing I've heard really rivals how offense Wayne's line was.

Also take into context the person itself being referred to. I think we can agree, while all horrible acts, the King beating and X assassination really don't rival how disgusting the Till killing was. He was a child that was beaten beyond recognition, hung, then shot after he was already dead and essentially tossed away all for (supposedly) whistling at a white woman.

They're all disrespectful in their own way, but IMO this was a whole different level I literally had to pause the song and that he would say that.
