so how bad is being written up at work?

shouldnt affect ur future jobs but if u get written up multiple times, its not a good look.

why would it affect your future jobs.. its only at ur current job.. and just becareful cuz the more write-ups the easier it is for you to get fired

no it wont affect your future jobs, though get one to many and it will affect when you look for a future job

That has nothing to do w/you gettin a job elsewhere...just won't be able to use ya current job as a reference (for obvious reasons)

lol..no it wont affect u in the future. its for whatever' company u currently work for to assess ur value. the only way it can affect u outside of urcurrent job is if u list them as a refrence for ur future job. u must work in some kind of retail if ur talking about 'write-ups'. doubt retail wouldbe hiring much in the future anyway.

never been written up in 5 years at my job. got a written warning once though.

I notice they tend to write up the people they don't like lol.

pretty much. If you're either A) unliked or B) disposable you'll be seeing lots of those. I'm glad I know how to do everything at myjob. It puts pressure on the management.

. I think it was my managers fault forcounting wrong to be honest.

it won't affect your future jobs, but i believe it won't be a great reference to put on a future job application.

good luck to you, fam.

NOT TRUE, when a job calls your past place of hire, it isn't to find out what type of employee you were. It's just to verify you worked there for theamount of time you stated. Your past job can't slander your name as it is defamation of character

OP there are different tupe of write ups, those that are inter-departmental and those that go to HR and can be seen by other departments in the event you tryto change positions within the job. Depending on where you work these write-ups may hold you back from promotion etc

It may affect future jobs if you continue to get written up and then can't use your current employer as a reference. Other than that you should be fine. Italso may affect advancement opportunities so stop !@%@@%@ up!
