So I'm being sued for a fender bender accident..lady claims shes "disabled"

Got served with the papers on Saturday, accident happened in september 07

We were in stop and go traffic and my car rolled into her rear end goign at about 15 mph, my car had slight damages the hood popped up like less than a inch,my plate got a lil crooked, her beat up 90s vechile had no damage besides the plate getting crooked also.

She is claiming she lost wages and cant do services no more, she wants money for lost wages with interest and future lost wages, current and future hospitalbills, and get this, her husband, who wasnt in the car, is suing also because he lost the services of his wife.

what kind of BS is this?

And why did the papers come directly to my house by hand of a police officer? shouldn't the insurance handle this? why do i have a feeling my father and Iwill end up in debt forever to this lady paying her a boat load of money

it's probably required by law in your state to be served by aLEO.

Hire an attorney ASAP dude.

You can probably win this with a cheap lawyer. Sounds like she got one of those ambulance chaser lawyers that you see advertise on TV al the time (at least,they do around here). Everybody's looking to win off things. She probably went to a lawyer who has friends in rehabilitation places and they just sign offfor one another on whatever they need... I had a friend who went to one of those and made a nice chunk of change.

Hiring a defense lawyer will net any charges to the person who initiate the case.
i.e. This broad is going to pay for her lawyer and yours when she gets her !@*% handed to her in court.

I was in the exact same situation back when I was a senior in High School....I went to my parents attorney, he made a phone call to their phony TV lawyer,dropped some knowledge, and the lawsuit was dropped

But yea I was in a similar situation but when I hit the guy I ran a red light and hit him and his car flipped...He then hoped out of the car ran home and gothis parents. About 2 months later they try and sue my insurance company talking about damages. I'm like NO-SIR F that. So when I had to give my statement Imade it very clear he pulled a 4.2 40yrd dash time when hoped up out the car. Needles to say him and his scheming parents got nothing ...

But you should try and talk to an attorney quick, because if you don't they can get over on you. You shouldn't have to take care of her the rest ofyour life from a 15mph accident. Get a Lawyer ASAP!, or try and see what your insurance company can do to help.
