It's not trolling. Hoverboards have existed, at least in some capacity, for years now.

The part that's tricky are the changes to our infrastructure that would be required for hoverboards to actually work for every day life. Most include some complex array of magnets for large metropolitian areas.

We've seen a $10,000 magnetic hoverboard before, but it required a special metal track to ride on, and this teaser appears to show the board on regular ground (Update: We got in touch with Lexus, and confirmed that like the other examples we've seen, there is a metal surface underneath the skate park shown here -- it's real, but you won't be riding this thing just anywhere)
