I been seeing a lot of negativity on NT the last couple of days and I wanted to remind everyone about how good life is and what we all have to look forward to. The year is almost over and I think this is a good time to celebrate all of our achievements. Congrats on another awesome year NT.

2014:
Find a place of employment(Already looking)
Buy cellphone
Get slightly newer car
Save up about 1500 for this trip I want to take in August

Finally put my laziness aside and learn guitar, also get better at my piano skills
Make decent grades in school
Lose this 50 pounds that I've gained over the last 2 years and get too 200 pounds
Finally start buying things I want to get and not being dependent on my mom/dad
Ummm, that's about the just of what I want to do.

Made a thread like this not too long ago. :pimp:

-Knock out this interview I have next week with a tech firm.

-Get a new car like pronto. (Gonna have to scrap my old Ranger... Transmission started to slip last week and it's at 203,XXX miles. mean.gif )

-Move out my momma's crib. Been here since graduation. Almost 3 months later and it's getting unbearable. (Girl and I currently looking for apts.)

Did well with the interview, but ended up not getting the job. Its all good, tho. I got an offer from the state govt shortly after and I'd much rather make less at a stable company than make a lot at a firm set to be sold in 1-2 years. (Plus pension :pimp:).

Still no new car...but I'm looking. Trying to decide between the CLA or the 320i.

Moved in with my girl a week ago. So far so good :pimp:

For 2014:

- Stay baby free
- Get at least 2 IT/Tech certs
- Avoid superfluous spending (I spent $500+ in perfume/cologne in two months. :smh: )

For 2013:
Lost my virginity :pimp: Have had anotherr yambs in August so thats two.

For 2014:
Graduate HS
Start fall semester in college
Get my license
Get OUT of tampa and move back to nyc

My confidence has sky rocketed this year. I tend to wear things that last year I wouldn't find myself in. Might sound small but confidence can change your entire life. I Love it.

Also:

Conquered my fear of flying:

     -Flew to Colorado and Cali

     -Zip Lining

     -Went on a helicopter

Conquered my fear of needles and began donating blood (platelets) almost every month

Explored the **** out of my state

Ran my first 5k

Began traveling the country

Was much more social than ever

I use to hate cats and now I basically have the greatest feline ever. Can't imagine my life with the little guy. Might not have been a goal but that def deserves a shout out.

For next year:

continue with my journey to travel wherever I can

begin a healthier lifestyle

buy a new car

I NEED to probably find a new job

Begin volunteering

Pay off all of my debts. NO EXCEPTION

Get married

2013
-get off to a good start in grad school (did extremely well)
-land an internship for the summer since I'm switching careers (landed one in a top 10 national firm)
-remain at the same weight (unfortunately managing a full-time school workload and a full-time work schedule hasn't allowed me to do that and I did gain 12lbs)

2014
-get an offer for full-time upon graduation from said internship
-buy my first home, a multi-family, which I hope to rent out and make money off
-continue to do well in school
-pass 2 parts of the CPA by the conclusion of December 2014
-hopefully have time to hit the gym at least 3 times per week to lose those 12lbs and get to my goal weight of 190lbs (22lbs shouldn't be that difficult)
-finally find the type of girl that I have been looking for

Great thread OP!

2013:

-Traveled to Spain and experienced an incredibly rich and beautiful culture and people.

-Became stronger as a physician both clinically and academically thus enabling me to provide better care to my patients.

-Purchased my 2 dream cars from childhood (Porsche and NSX) and gave my father my G35 coupe to enjoy his retirement with.

-Started a small business to support my medical practice which I hope will continue to push the health care envelope to reach more people in need.

2014:

-Hope to send my parents to Europe for a few weeks as a retirement gift for sacrificing so much for me when I was growing up so that I could go to medical school and be where I am today.

-Hope to learn more about business and politics so that one day I might enter this realm of public service.

-Hope to invest wisely and continue building a strong financial base for future endeavors.
