I just had an interview with at&t and think I might end up getting the job. Just got a few quetsions.

1) Dude said I'd have to go to training and it'd take like two weeks. i'm guessing i'd get paid for the training? and would I get a hotel room to stay at?

2) How much do part time employees make? Is it hourly wage plus commission?

3) Do I get free service from the company? I'm guessing they dont want their employees going through other companies so im interested as to how this works the most.

Thanks to anyone who responds, especially any actual at&t employees

Werent you sppose to ask these questions during the interview? lol

Out of curiosity since I have applied for a job there, do you have any background in retail or anything of that sort. Do you mind listing some jobs you previously have had, just trying to figure out what it is they are looking for. Not having much customer service "experience" is killing me on the job hunt, especially when I know I can do the job just fine.

Yeah man I've had a few retail jobs. I worked at a sports store in a mall and was seasonal help for radio shack. If you do get an interview just let em know your good with the customer service cause thats what their big on.

All of those were questions you should have asked during the interview. I've never had an interview where they don't say "Do you have any questions for me?" If he didn't bring up your wage then you definitely should have asked.

You most likely would get paid during training. And hotel room? Why would they get you a hotel room... especially if you're working part time?

I'm speaking from second hand knowledge and this is from an authorized retail att store not a pure att store... it's a difference and you should find out which one you are.....

1. why the hell do they have to train you out of state. your supposed to get trained at the store or a store close to you. never heard of anyone having to go out of state for training

2. Yes you get paid like 8hr plus commission but you have to hit a certain goal to get any commission at all and depending on the area of the store it could be hard to do.

3. no free service but you get 1 hell of a discount plus they give out the newest phones to you for free from time to time.

Hotel? What the @#*+? You're training outta state? They're supposed to train you at the store you're gonna be working at.

You get paid minimum wage or a little ovr minimum wage plus commission.

You will not get free service, but you will get discounted.

I`m waiting for my T Mobile background check to finalize, so I can put my 2 weeks in at Best Buy.

Min wage is what you guys are getting paid?? Here in Oregon they pay like $12.50 plus commission starting out.
