Sup NT fam, so I went to go register at a local community college just right now and they told me someone is using my SSN under a different name and date of birth.
Anyone been through this?
Where do I go to get this straightened out or who do I call? Any help is appreciate thanks

Contact all three credit bureaus and have them place a freeze on your SSN.  Secondly, pull a credit report from annualcreditreport.com and see if anything has been opened.  If so, send a certified letter to the bureaus demanding that they investigate it and provide proof within 30 days (under the Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act).  Since they can't, it will be removed from your report.  If you know the person's name, file a report with the authorities with the information you have so you can get your identity theft taken care of.

Beware, this will be a long drawn out process that will be very frustrating, so be prepared.

Went to the Social Security office, and they said they can't do a damn thing as long as whoever has it doesn't make any moves.
