sony vs samsung

so i had a guarantee on my damaged samsung Tv with verizon. basically my 52" samsung had a scratch in the middle of it about 2 or 3 inches long. so theygave me a choice of Tv's to pick from between a samsung ln52b550 or a Sony KDL-52V5100. i would like to know witch one is the bettertv. thanks in advance. both of them are 52" so theres no size difference. oh and i get too keep my old tv.

I got a Sony and a Samsung. They both look about the same Sony is better quality material and better overall apperance. Also Sony would have a better resalevalue.

I got a 52" Samsung 1080p 120hz TOC

I also have a 46" Sony 1080p 120hz

The Samsung puts the Sony to shame. The Sony is nice, but the Samsung is just stupid.

The sony V-series are 120HZ, the samsung 550 series is a fairly basic TV.


Go with the Sony.

Differences...Sony = Japanese and Samsung = Korean. They are both great quality but I have a Samsung so I'm biased, also check the SN
