Just finished New World. Great gangster movie. I would put it up there with Casino & Goodfellas.

Edit: That actor with the shades on the new world cover is something. He was also amazing in A bittersweet life.

There is this Korean action movie, The Man from Nowhere. Eye-popping (heh) good action!

Yeah, Burning blew my mind. It’s definitely not something I’d recommend getting acquainted with South Korean films. I have to watch that movie again with fresh eyes.

Train to Busan is another one that caught me way off guard.

Been meaning to check out #Alive.

Train to Busan builds the characters perfectly. We are not supposed to enjoy a Zombie movie this much.

Have not heard of alive. Good reviews?

I had heard that it was pretty inventive in how it was filmed, but never got around to it.

Nextflix started auto playing for me and some of the shots looked :wow:

I watched New World and The Tiger today. Also watched No Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance last night.

Choi Min-sik has to be one of the very best in acting, if not the best.

Which one should check out first, Tiger or Mr. Vengeance?

A tale of two sisters is also a good one. Old, but good. I was really popular when it first came out (2003). I just saw it a few months back.

What Korean shows y’all watchin? Netflix gotta good amount.

Extracurricular is probably my favorite on Netflix. .

I've watched a **** ton of Korean shows in 2020 just cause of production slow downs elsewhere, so it's basically a whole new pool of shows to watch
