I would say no bc they are prob an unauthorized pair.. there would be yellowing on a release day pair by now..IDC how you stored them.

These are gray market Space Jams--recently made unauthorized shoes that have authentic parts.

Whether people consider gray market sneakers authentic or not, all you need to know is that the Space Jams on the seller's auction are NOT the retail version from 2009:

The outer soles are too icy, and seems to have a bit of a blue tint.
-By now, the outer soles, of a retail pair, should show some signs of oxidation (yellowed surfaced).
-Also, the 2009 retros never had a blue tint.

The length of the patent leather cut is too high.
-Albeit the patent leather cut varied for most AJ 11s, overall, the 2008 Breds and 2009 Space Jams were notorious for having less than desirable low length cuts.
-It wasn't until the 2010 Cool Grey where we saw significant improvements on the patent cut and overall shape of the AJ 11s.

The seller says he lost the receipt, but kept the shoes saran wrapped over time....

imo they are legit, you can find them not yellowing they are just rare.  Countless people have said that the blue tint only shows in pictures. what is the production date? in they are made in the same factory with the same materials they would be the same.

ok so with this logic lets say 50 of us go to a car factory and piece together a few hundred cars quickly... Do you think they are going to be the same quality as the ones that come out of that factory  M-F. I SERIOUSLY DOUBT IT...

All this same factory same material BS is JUST BS... You guys are just trying to rationalize spending 200+ on some FAKE jays that ALMOST look legit. Stop playing yourself.. FAKE is FAKE...EARLY RELEASE is FAKE..UNAUTHORIZED IS FAKE. PERIOD.

So you think that the "REAL" manufacturers don't make a quality mistake? I think there is a thread here that discussed all the quality issues by JB from their official releases and nowadays "PERFECT PAIRS" are considered jackpot if u have them.

People need to educate themselves on the new batch of Space Jam 11's coming out. The tag may say 2009 but they've been produced in 2013. You can print out "2009" on a piece of paper but it doesn't mean it was printed on 2009.

Even in 2009, a DS pair of space jams never had the blue tint. It was just straight ice. The 2010 Varsity/Infrared 6's never had the blue tint. It was not until the cool greys that they implemented the blue tint.
