This might be too old for some of you cats here on NT but for those who remember this show was

. Every Friday night at 12 midnight on HBO. One of the few gory and X rated shows that my parents let me watch faithfully as a kid. I hated how itended abruptly without the war between heaven and hell starting and Spawn choosing sides. There were talks of it coming back years ago but those plans nevercame to fruition. I found the old VHS' the other day and dusted them off. I'm still waiting for the reboot of the movie.

My uncle used to record these for me and my cousin

Iused to quote Clown sayin', "PUTTIN' it TO her on the daily basis."

Damn, shows are nowhere near as good as they were when I was younger.

I was shocked at the cartoon nudity and vulgar language.

Spawn was my fav comic dude. I still have the number 1 comic somewhere.

Well...The animated movies have been including more and more adult themes little by little.

In the new Batman/Superman: Public Enemies movie Lex Luthor is pretty much wildin out the whole movie on some megalomaniac stuff. He even calls his assistant afeminine canine in a pretty straightforward, none kiddy, adult way.

Same with Hulk Vs. Wolverine/Thor. You can see blood and and actual gun use...None of that fake 'p-yoong p-yoong' laser gun crap stuff like from the90's X-Men cartoon.
