Anybody check this movie out? Saw a screening last night and it was amazing. Definitely recommend you check it out. Curreny has a 96% RT rating.

The true story of how the Boston Globe uncovered the massive scandal of child molestation and cover-up within the local Catholic Archdiocese, shaking the entire Catholic Church to its core.

Quite a few jimmies were definitely rustled in the theater.

lol @ ray donovan in a movie about church molestation.

movie looks really good.

Saw this today. Easily one of, if not, my top film of the year. All of the actors are on the top of their game, but Ruffalo is the standout. The story is very intriguing and sickening once the facts get revealed throughout the movie.

In no particular order these are my favorite films of 2015, the only movies I can see enjoying just as much are Star Wars and Creed:

Spotlight
Mad Max
Room
Sicario
The Martian

Saw it last weekend
Michael Keaton is that dude
Ruffalo was really good too, reminded me of his character in Zodiac
Really expecting big awards haul from this

Fast pace moving story

Apparently, this has a big chance in winning the Oscar

Felt like Roger Sterling fit right in there. Maybe because it was also an office setting.

Just watched this last weekend. My skin was crawling afterwards.

For a movie that was 99.9% dialogue, it moved rather quickly and it was extremely intense.

i realize its importance and significance but the movie itself was like watching paint dry

^^ i was thinking that about 15 min in.....like how could a movie about journalism pull me in....but it reminds me of the film searching for bobby fischer......like how could a film about chess be exciting.

The acting was excellent.
Every single actor was really good and believable. Even minor roles.

I can understand why sum people mite not care for it tho.

This, but I gotta call bull on Ruffalos performance. He was cool as usual, the same Ruffalo flow, not seeing this brilliant performance always touted. Dude is literally the same quirky demure character in everything.

:lol Yea, I got the same vibe from Ruffalo.

Speaking of movies that are great but mostly dialogue, Big Short was FANTASTIC. Lived up to the Oscar billing, IMO.

*Tried to watch The Hateful 8 last night, but dozed off 4 different times. Put the movie back in the netflix sleeve w/o even finishing. Thought it was terrible.
