Hi there.

After one run in my neighborhood's grove I noticed some barley grass pieces firmly attached to my shoes. So I decided to make a movie about that.

"Spring and summer in a pair of shoes" is a short walk down a road we have all traveled. It is a testament to those hot yet breezy days spent running through the warm seasons wilderness to contemplate life and be alone with ones self.
The film is engulfed in nature, as is the director, a symbolic fusion that comes across as humble but not to the point of arrogance.
The soundtrack moves along with the rhythm of the run and the wind in a melodic thumping symphony.
I was not expecting much from first time director zakaria, but after watching "spring and summer in a pair of shoes",

I will be expecting much more.
