I think I have that & that is not SERO.

Isn't SERO being phased out?

A ton of people that work security related fields have to call their land line-based HQ's, like me.

I spend at least a good 50-60 minutes every week callin' my base when emergencies or somethin happens.

And my security company doesn't even help me pay my cell phone bill...

I go over my 500 mins/month like...every other month ESPECIALLY during the holiday season.

I average around 55 a month anyways...sometimes worse. This last month was 95.

I am tired of Windows Mobile devices. Android is legit. This might've sold me over...finally. 69.99 for unlimited everything basically.

I've got questions.

I was going to switch to the palm pre, but decided otherwise when I was informed I had to get a new plan. Is this plan good with it?

Can I add lines on this plan? If so, at what cost per line.

They're trying to phase it out by not allowing SERO users to have anything but Windows Mobile phones.

Jumped off SERO for almost a year now... Went with the darkside... Ya i miss the cheap plan but ATT 3G was better then the Sprint equivalent in my area.

FOR WHAT?

4G (mandatory fee BTW). I found out that I am eligible for a 15% discount due to my new job, which will lower my bill even more. SERO is so good to me

My brother was able to upgrade to the Blackberry Bold and keep SERO.

I might switch to this plan eventually, I can get 20% off with my corporate discount.  My bill this month was $105 even with SERO, went waaaay over.

Yea. thats the best plan you can get with the Evo comparible to Sero. That's what I'm switching to. You can talk to a customer service agent and they will give you a 10$ credit per month for extending and switching then you might qualify for 15%-25% more based on your employer. There is a HUGE list of them on Slickdeals

If they phase out my SERO, they can say goodbye to me. I want the new iPhone anyways. The EVO 4G wont due for me.

Plan on terminating my SERO contract this week. Will call sprint finance department, and tell them to take an additional $10-20 off of my bill to upgrade to a new plan.

chances are slim to none to get a corporate discount on SERO... they dont wanna give us a damn thing anymore.

Left my SERO plan this past Jan when the N1 came out and haven't really looked back since.  It was a pretty good 3 years I had it though

Tell me about it MisterP...

Me and my girl is on the $30 SERO, and she doesn't want to leave and neither do I, but I hate this stupid Touch Pro 1.

I asked her if she wanted and iPhone, but she says lets ride with this plan until the wheels fall off
laugh.gif

Me and her can't justify paying a $100+ phone bill per month because we relate it back to cable/internet/phone being cheaper than that.

I hate the fact that they're shafting us OG SERO people... I know people who have had their AT&T plans from like the late 90's still, and they keep getting grandfathered, but they all have flip phones still
laugh.gif

If I'm paying an expensive bill then I'm either going to go with Verizon or AT&T though... I haven't had any good success with HTC phones so I don't know.

I'll see what happens and how it pans out!

slickdeals.net is your friend if your looking for "employee discounts" on your sprint bill
