Square App??

My friend showed me this app in the Android market, I'm not sure if its in the Apple store. But there's this app called "Square" and its basically a business type app where you sign up and you receive a card reader. And with that card reader you can accept credit cards. Whether that be in a business situation or if your friends owe you money and they don't have cash. I was wondering if anyone on NT has downloaded or tried out the app. I downloaded it but I haven't signed up. Anyone who has signed up, can you give me a review on it and if its worth it. Thanks in advance

it works but money you charge gets deposited once a week not instantly

That seems pretty good.

My wife has a small business and it would work well for that - she always has to wait a few days to deposit checks anyway.

2.75% isn't too bad - you could charge a fee like airlines do for paying by card - her transactions are all around $50 so the fee wouldn't be too bad.

Shame it only works in the US at the moment.

Old +!! app this was advertised back during the iPhone 3GS days and they use a similar idea in the Apple store to make purchases. They connect a real terminal to an iphone to process transactions easier.
