I copped a pair of CDP 5s a few months ago off eBay in NDS condition (I'd say they were worn maybe 10 times at the most, and definitely kept in good condition. Jumpman still totally intact on the insole, minimum yellowing), and after wearing them a few times, they started squeaking really bad. I mean "anybody walking next to me could hear it" bad. I found the baby powder fix online (taking out the insole, putting a good amount of baby powder in the shoe, shaking it up and letting the baby powder settle in across the whole shoe, then shaking it out), but it only fixed the squeaking temporarily (for maybe 2 or 3 wears); then, I'd have to do it again. I'm wondering if this is an issue in all of the CDP 5s, or it's just an issue with this particular pair. I have a pair of Black/Metallic Silver 5s that I've worn several times, and have yet to have a problem at all, nor have I ever had this problem in any of my other retro J's. I just copped a DS pair of CDP 5s, so I'm hoping that this isn't an issue across the board. Let me know if this is an issue y'all have had too, or if your CDP 5s have been fine after several wears. Thanks.
