I see @jaypesoz here today.
Reminds me we still haven't seen a Bounty Hunter/Mandalorian in these Sequels. I'm gonna need to see these next gen Brothers In Arms for Episode IX.

TLJ officially moves past Rogue One and The Dark Knight into #6 all time.

Pretty funny that Empire is the lowest of all of them, even tho tickets were like 3-4 bucks back then and that doesn't speak to how many people actually went to theaters to see it back then. This chart does show that. Still 5 of the top 18, and the prequels and TLJ are all still inside the top 60 or so. :hat

I pray, on everything, we get a Mandalorian something someday. Be it a Fett standalone, or even just Mandalore itself, we need a film (trilogy) of new characters like this.

Mandalorian war, Mandos vs Jedi, bounty hunters, something. Someday, please Disney.

truth. We're getting this with Rebels, give us something like that but in live action.

Its a prequel movie you know how some are.

C'mon now, I'm not slandering it, I'm praising the good parts of the scene(s) I really really like, but some of those scenes were poor and I'm explaining in detail why.

I'm not out here claiming that Maul once raped his nephew, or that George never watched a Star Wars movie before, etc. :lol

Dude just stood there waiting for Obi to slice him.
This is pretty clear, no need to clown nobody. it speaks for itself.
It's more like a theatre/play fight than a movie brawl.

This guys just keeps going. It's been said and known that Maul was a young apprentice. Brute strength. Yes he got cocky and could not sense what Obi-wan was thinking. Not all sith can sense what Jedi are thinking

My absolute favorite part of that Maul scene is when the shields come down, and Qwi-Gon kneels and meditates, and Maul is just pacing back and forth, a caged animal just dying to get to him.
so so soooo good. definitely elevates that fight scene to a higher level despite the ballerina-esque feel. loved that when i saw it in the theaters.

#16.
It's ALL Science Fiction. Sure they have convenient explanations for Everything. Just try to enjoy the Movies, people.

its all science fiction is such a lazy argument.

while its true, yes, its science fiction, the story teller writes the story in a world based off rules and laws for that world.

we as fans accept whatever laws the writer sets in place.

when said writer abandons the laws put in place mid-story it sticks out like a sore thumb

i asked before, can you name another franchise that has randomly switched up laws mid-story?

Any of you SW diehards know why the far superior (and older) Y-Wing was replaced with those useless WW2 inspired bombers in the gif above?

even in the future people fall for retro hype. one century it's retro nintendo, the next it's ww2 aircraft ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Miss me with that "It's science fiction with space wizards" argument. This isn't a Brothers Grimm fairy tale.

Also, was Paige Tico's remote detonator also powered by "electromagnetic plates"? Because I seem to recall that **** falling in space too

14. Kaydel Connix (Billie Lourd), was promoted from an operations controller in Force Awakens to lieutenant in Last Jedi.

And surprisingly, she's not told of the really important plan to save everyone's lives

Show me where these Laws of Star Wars are.
Tell me EXACTLY what Rule you are referring to in relation to the article post. Didn't get that memo at the SW Fan Convention. Seriously quite curious.
I'm not Geek enough to dig up the history of Star Trek, Comic Book, Fantasy characters and events that have changed over the years because it's FICTION. New powers and tech have been introduced in ALL franchises over Time.

^ not sure if it's a star wars law or just a law of physics...but for me...the whole space thing and dropping bombs and not getting sucked into space got me confused.

How do you 'drop bombs in space'
How come the bomber lady didn't get sucked into space as the opened the bomb doors.
How come no one on the rebel ship got sucked into space when they opened to door to let yoda-leia in the ship?

y'all are watching a movie with a talking fish or something as an admiral...but nitpicking physics

People have been B & Moaning about Characters, Powers and Tech since Uncle George had the franchise. Remember those Pointless Arguments over the years. But he was The Maker, so whatever George said, It's Gospel.

It's not Grimm Fairy Tales, but the stories are a "Space Opera". And that's a quoted Fact Term.
This Thread reminds me of Trooping days where Empire guys took pride in the stuff We built and then had Rebel bathrobe wearing Hippies discussing stupid faux religion, waving Magic Sticks, trying to move things with Mind Tricks.

I agree. B-wings or Y-wings seemed like the obvious choice, considering how maddeningly slow the big bombers were. I was thinking that while I was watching.

It's far from the first time an invisible force field contained people and atmosphere inside a seemingly open hole on a SW ship. For instance, most of the hangars on capital ships have a huge open hole into space, but we have to imagine that a force field is keeping everything in (except fighters, when they pass through it). In Paige (the bomber lady)'s case, the field selectively let the bombs out but nothing else... I guess? Leia's scene was sloppy in general, not gonna try to explain that, haha.

I agree that dropping unguided, unpowered bombs seems really backwards when you have advanced homing missiles decades earlier in the Clone Wars... that the bombs appeared to be in free fall, affected by gravity, while in space, was a real head scratcher and took me out of the scene a bit. Ships in SW have artificial gravity, so I guess that explains Paige falling "down" inside the bomber, but once outside the ship, the bombs should stay moving at a steady speed.
