starter jacket question

To my NT fam, I have a quick question for you about the 80-90s satin starter jackets with the snap buttons on the front. Do they make fakes of these jackets? Is it safe to assume that if you see them on ebay (for the most part) theyre real? Because there are a ton on ebay and lots of them still are new with tags and so Im wondering how can people have so many of these old jackets that are brand new? Any info would be appreciated before I pull the trigger on one. Thanks in advance.

To the people saying to not do it or reconsider, is there a particular reason as to why? Have you seen fakes before?

I'm trying to think if there's a big enough market now to warrant making fakes. Fakes or Jordans or lebrons or women's purses, I can understand. But i don't know if its worth a persons time to make fake starter jackets.

Theres counterfeit versions for pretty much every piece of popular merchandise. Buy with caution. Its only a matter of time before they reproduce those cursive script starter hoodies too. still got my tarheels hoody.
