I know we aren't supposed to like SAS but I don't this this was a far-fetched opinion at the time at all.

Many Knick fans felt the same way.

Edit: Listening to Tim legler speak on Brunson and he said the same thing. "Nobody knew he was a #1 level player when the KNicks got him. He never showed that in Dallas. So we all had questions."
