come on, you can't just leave us hanging like that, what did she do that was worse than attempted rape??

She freaked out when I said I'd get a lawyer for her, she can't have it go public, which pretty much makes it a standoff. Meanwhile, this guy is doing all he can to *$#+ with her. I won't get into details, but he's contacted her family, hacked into her e-mail/facebook, and some other things I won't get into.
Ehh whatever. I dont believe you soley for the fact that you didnt post this originally. Why dont you tell us what your friend did? I dont seewhat she could have done that would make her look bad if she was almost raped. Was she drunk or something, is she promiscous? I hate when people post stuff, ask for advice, yet your thin on the details......

Oh no it's not worse than attempted rape, not even close. Hers didn't hurt anyone, and I really don't think it's a felony, but it's notsomething I'm going to air out on a public forum. But like I said, she's got more to lose. So if she took him to court and both their crimes were puton the table, she'd fall a lot harder than him.

And I am 100% sure it's prostitution. In fact, I have met one of them, she was only 18 at the time (legal nonetheless), and that's how I know his wifeis OK with it and wanted a threesome- she told me all about it.

Air her out? you have accomplished that already dude....might as well continue, we dont know her name or location. So you dont think its afelony, it hasnt hurt anyone, but its a crime?? Just say what she did and let us decide.

I'm not here to entertain you or satisfy your curiosity, I'm here to ask for advice. If you don't want to give it, fine, but don't expect me todivulge private details of someone else's life to a bunch of strangers. Nor do I care if you believe me or not. Think what you want, all I'm lookingfor is some help. I don't really want to go to anyone I know, since I don't want to tell people about what happened. She's only told me and herroommate, I'm not about to go spreading it around, intentionally or not.

No, I haven't "aired her out," I've just given enough details for you to understand the situation. I had to say she committed a crime, orelse it would seem like the answer was obvious- go to the police.

Yeah, and? It's not like you know him, and he's been harassing this girl for a year now. He's 37 years old, she's 18. I don't feel bad, sorry.

Well yes im curious, but that doesnt mean i dont want togive advice. how can ayone understand the "situation" if you dont tell us what the girl did? Maybe if you tell us the "crime" we can decideif she can still tell the police, or if she has other options. But whatever, your not going to get the answers you want.

Dude, I already said its severity combined with how much she stands to lose makes it a bad move, at this point, to go to the police.

If it was that simple, she would have done it. I'm going to talk to a lawyer this week about it. But at the same time, I want to get this guy back.

First she did something equally as severe as rape, now what she did isn't even a felony.

If she didn't commit a crime, she will not fall.
Edit: Where do you come into this? Why would you be talking to a lawyer about your friends situation?

Lemme clear it up, I didn't know it was so confusing. I thought it was a felony at first, but I looked it up and found out it's a misdemeanor. But shedid commit a crime, and she stands to lose too much if she gets tried for it.

Edit:

I come in because she asked me for help, and my dad is a partner at a law firm, so I could talk to a some lawyers for free. She knows about it, I'm notdoing it behind her back.

that is sick.if it ever happen to kids...they may grow up to be jeffrey dahmers and ted bundys of tommorow
