lol..^^verdykt...EXACTLY what I thought when I saw the title of the thread....id go so far as to say that regardless of the contract deals (Idk how many yearsstro has left and at how much) that he is a huge upgrade over collins...actually, I think jason is a FA after the season so maybe memphis wants cap space

That's tough. Stromile Swift deserves some time on the court but with the way Boone and Williams are playing I can't see him playing more than a bitrole, at least initially.

Its a little 2 late now --- they should of traded him the night they drafted him. What year was he drafted? What other big men were in the draft that year?They should of just started Kidd at Center since he pulls down more rebounds then Collins

this is a joke. coach i is ignorant and stubborn and refuses to play stro just because he has personal issues with him. all stro needs is minutes. anytime hehas got ample playing time he has produced.

apparently stro and coach i have had a rocky relationship and thats the reasoning for wanting to trade him.
I read somewhere the other day that Stromile got suspended for "menacingly standing over the coach and staring at him for too long while Coach saton the bench"

considering Swift as thesituation has it now, probably has no future left with the Grizzlies, this is probably a good trade for them in their eyes (unless they see that they can getsomething more). Any trade involving Jason Collins out of NJ , I'm all for.

Don't expect much from him.

it's definitely an upgrade and i'd consider it a steal considering swift is an expiring while collins has two years left. i still think swift justneeds more minutes and a change of scenery and he can make an impact on a team, nothing major but much better than what collins should be able to offer.

Im in big favor of this trade. I wanted Stro when the Nets went after him a couple years back. He'd be a good player for this team, reminds me of SeanWilliams.

This dude Sean Williams is nice with it.
Stro on the otherhand..
People get duped into the 'Stro-Show' because he's an athletic 4 who can 'jump out the gym,' but he was trash juice with Houston. He wasgarbage with the Grizzlies, even though they run an offense that suits his style, an up and down game.
But yeah. It's definitely a good move for the Nets. One less year than Collins, and Collins brings absolutely nothing to the table.
