I am looking up info on this school and I'm really interested in attending. But does anyone know if freshman are allowed to have vehicles on campus at thisuniversity?

lol ^ .. if you live on campus no... if you live elsewhere (freeway underpass, shopping mall, bed,bath & beyond.. then yes)

its a hassle when its cold.... but girls at SUNY during freshman orientation i was like why was this not in high school.

I know a couple people up at Albany, partied up there a lot my junior year.
Oh & Freshmen orientation is good anywhere. I would move in to my dorm early just to be around during freshmen orientation.

Yeah I figured all orientations are good, but i was amazed i was like there maybe was like 5-10 banging girls in my high school in college it is an insane #. Ikno it was going to be like that but wow.

I'm goin' to visit my boy at St Johns sometime this month..
Albany was nuts though..I went up last month and I was a wreck...Pre-gamed my !@% off at Siena College with 8 shots of straight vodka, then went downtown tothe bar for 4 dollar pitchers..

CUNY is NYCs schools, while SUNY is New York States schools..
Correct me if I'm wrong.
Both CUNY and SUNY have great schools...Binghampton and Geneseo stick out for SUNY.

I been at SUNY for 3 yrs..
good school..lots of gd programs with exp'd professors..Im a fake-fine arts major..lol
but Alb is cool as a town, but nuthin to do but get drunk and piff it out
its 3750 in state, +15k out of state
overall I think its well worth the $

- Nah...it's a luxury.
- Lot of partying. Good people for the most part.
- Hell yes. Madison Ave on the weekend if looking for such.
- Always things to do/get involved in.
- I am currently...and gota nice deal. If you look around you can find something nice.

I recently spoke to some friends that go to SUNY Albany and I heard nothing but positve things bout this place.. From the parties,food(wendy's &sbarropizza), fountain day,town,tuition cheaper for NY residents. Hopefully I get accepted so I can have a good time.

...definitely no shortage of ladies over there...it's mind boggling on that campus

- nope. it's free to take the bus around albany if you have a suny id card.
- hell naw. everyone's mad cool and social.
- snow bunnies galore. both in and out of campus. it's crazy diverse here too so if you wanna change tastes for a day, guaranteed there's something for your appetite.
- more than 200 clubs / organizations / and what have you. and if you want to make your own, you can even get it funded in the same semester.
- there are new apartments in campus called empire commons and freedom. really really nice. you can get them outside of campus too.
this feels weird doin this, cuz i was askin to get schooled bout UA not too long ago lol.
