....but Wayne and Cudi wouldn't be first pick..at all...
Why does the music have to be relevant to music now?

You dont understand how businesses work, do you?

You sound stupid as hell here.

A good business move would be to put on an act, or 2 that are relevant to 2010, not 1970 something....

Please explain why you think that would be a good move because I dont think you thought this through.

So your counter argument is a group from around 30 years ago is worth the marketing dollars as it relates to the year we are in now, 2010, than a group of acts that currently making hit albums and songs?? If so, I think you need your head re-examined.

That's like watching the Super Bowl in 1980, and them having an act from 1949 on stage.

...Times change, you  have to change with the times, that's also one of the key notes of business...

I never said The Who was the prefect act, but you can not have an act from 2010 perform.  Do you know the demographics of the people who watch the superbowl.  Theres a ton of people who only watch 1 football game a year and its the super bowl.  Most people dont even care about the game at all.  It's a party to them.  Its a social event.  People from all ages, races, and other demographics watch this game.  You want a musical act that has 1 hit on the charts for a few months to perform?

Theres 100x more people in the world that have heard acts like The Who instead of some brand new act.

Times have changed.  They used to have current acts and the world said they didnt like it.

Youre young, arent you?

Your argument is so flawed and biased it's ridiculous.
laugh.gif
Why can you not have an act from 2010 perform!? Why!? Because a nipple slip from 7 or 8 years ago occurred on stage!?
laugh.gif

You should know better than that! And as far as the people watching the Super Bowl, who don't watch the NFL on a normal basis, who cares!!? What does that have to do with the musical act on stage, or whether or not, they're a current artist or band making great music now!? They could have gotten Madonna to perform on stage...at least her image and music transcends decades and generations but The Who!? You can't be serious...and you defend these old retirement acts as if they didn't already have their time...and I'm 28 years old btw, not too old, but not wet behind the years young either fam...

The Colts are choking. They have a history of it.

You crazy...colts are known for making the comebacks
Comebacks in the playoffs? Save for the Superbowl win, they consistently choked against worse teams or couldn't hold leads when it counted.
Peyton should have multiple rings by now. Yes, even taking into account the Patriots of the past decade.

Kid...what are you talking about? We made a comeback against the Jets just last week. Against the Patriots last time we won. Against the Bears also in the SB. Just stop.
