It's tough out here for people who are making a little bit of money, so those on min. wage have to be scrapping by.
You also need to factor in UNEXPECTED EXPENSES: What happens when your car breaks down? Gas prices are constantly fluctuating, how will you cope with the increase?
You miss a payment on ya bills and now you have late fees, how will you pay them??
Additionally, think about all that you're giving up for a little bit of independence--Cable, Internet, Cell phone, Entertainment w/friends/family/significant other--and other little luxuries that may not be included with your apartment (i.e. heat or hot water dep. if it's a gas or electric unit).
