Well I don't want to get into the semantics regarding the definition of "race card," but to say he's put under a microscope because he's black and rich is a pretty knee-jerk reaction, especially considering that THERE WERE DRUGS IN THE CAR. All that flies out the window because he's black (and rich)? That's a race card. It doesn't work like that.

No, he was put under a microscope when he was busted with an army-like artillery of weapons way back when.
He was put under a microscope when he decided to rap about the glories of drugs, violence and guns.
Whether or not that rap persona is real or not, he sure didn't do much to dissuade the perception that he is indeed that person.

These were things that he brought upon his own damn self so when someone like him gets caught for something, it's not because they happen to be black and rich, it's because they attracted enough attention to garner suspicion.

But yeah, let's all ignore that he was busted with codeine or whatever else he was busted for because after all, he's black and rich and he's been unfairly scrutinized. Let's bring that argument into the mix to really derail this conversation.

Of course that's why he was arrested.  It's not like he was on PROBATION or anything, he shouldn't even have to follow rules.  That's so racist of them to arrest him for BREAKING THE LAW

I think he'll get off, but I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't.


Why is Syrup illegal if it can be prescribed? I mean are they checking for doctors notes? I know its not the same as having non-prescribed allergy medicine on you and the cops finding it, but still why is it treated so much more stringently?

UPDATE: T.I.’s Maybach was pulled over because they made an illegal U-turn (

). The cops then smelled the weed aroma and decided to search the car. TMZ is now alledging that they found methamphetamines and ecstasy in the car and that both T.I. and his wife might be facing up to a year (Tiny had been stopped for weed and ecstasy in the past.)
