Tail light TinT Question

So I recently had my taillights tinted at this local shop. They showed me a sample of what it would look like I gave my approval and on they went. I get my whip back and tints are OD dark, I been pulled over several times and now can't get inspection sticker. It is a urethane based tint not normal window film tint. Any Ideas on getting it off. Paint remover?

how much did it run you to get em tinted? i'm plannin on gettin mine tinted.

Was it the shops fault making it too dark or yours not knowing the tint wouldn't be legal, if its the shops fault they should take it off free of charge.

I was going to get mine tinted but my lights are too curved so I'm going to do the spray that sucks that you keep getting pulled

Yah they got me for 150 to tint em. They said they'd take em off for the same price becuase I seen a sample. But real talk the sample is way lighter than mine I'll post pics in the morn too dark right now lol
