To make a long story short:
-Broke it off with my girl due to distance
-Fell for the "I miss her too much to live without her feelings" and tried to get back with her. She told me she was near over it, started talking to another dude.
-Sent her a surprise birthday gift; she's all smiles, other dude apparently didn't do anything for her.
-Two days later, we get into it badly, tells me that she wants to see what's up with other guy. Told her fine, but I was ready to move and propose to you. She "comes around" and we try to make things work.
-Breaks up with me because "she feels that we're too different" yet she knew who I was/vice versa. I shrug it off and move on.
-Two days later, she admits that she had been confiding in other dude because we had'nt been talking, distance was an issue, etc. although I was (and still plan to) moving to close gap although I'm moving to get out of LA/Been waiting to make this move for damn near 5 years.
-Are now officially done. I asked her did she physically cheat on top of the emotionally cheating that she did and she swears up and down that wasn't the case.
So now, I am single. Been mostly numb/nonchalant to the entire situation. Wouldn't call it an L because I've learned that LD relationships aren't the business and learned more about what I want in a spouse and where I need to improve in certain areas.
