tech heads please help vol. comp not playing dvds

yo anyone else have the problem with their dvds not playing.. the sound at least.. but anyways i put the DVD in the computer.. and it plays the backgroundmusic not the talking... i used realplayer and windows media player... they both do the same thing. i tried using DIVX but thats not working all together..thanks in advance
 
download VLC player or Media Player Classic. The problem might be your codecs need updated but it could also be a bad dvd(if it was burnt).

k ill try that.. wasnt burnt though got it from blockbuster.. EDIT: MEDIA PLAYER CLASSIC FOR THE WIN!! THANKS
