 Johran McCormick, 17, was shot inside a Spring, Texas-area home Thursday after investigators say the father accused in the shooting woke up to find the teen in his 16-year-old daughter's bedroom.

Apparently, the kid was in this girls room late night and he wasn't supposed to be there - the girl had snuck him in. The girls brother had came in her room to say goodnight and saw the boy's (Johran) feet sticking out from under the bed, so the little boy ran and snitched to papa. Dad comes in the room to see what's going on and found Johran. The girl starts the "I don't know him I don't know him" act and the father and Johran get into a argument and papa calls the cops. The argument got out of hand and the father killed Johran. It wasn't until AFTER the boy died and AFTER the cops got involved for questioning, that the girl fessed up and admitted that she knew Johran and snuck him in.

That's crazy. Just another reminder to be careful out here. And specifically with girls. Going after the "goods" can get you killed and it's not a game out here.

It's the girls fault...can't trust some of these females man. She could've put an end to all of this, but she'd rather have the boys life took just to save her from an *** whooping.


Now old man has to live w the fact that he jut killed a brotha when all he thought he was doing was saving his daughter from an alleged break in/rape.
 
Yup, is the girls fault. She should've just owned up and took the consequences. I'm pretty sure the kid was stating that he knew her and all before the argument happened and shots were fired. The girl was scared out her mind and didn't want to face the repercussions of her actions. I understand daddy was trying to protect her but he didn't have to kill the kid.

It says the call was made at like 2:33am so the boy was over there late - well after midnight. If I were him I wouldn't have even being messing with that situation that late. 
 
Was reading this earlier. Yeah it was the chick's fault. Simple enough as saying "this is my boyfriend/friend" and all that would have happened is dude would have got ran out the house and she would have been in trouble. Reports said the dad called the cops before confronting dude so he definitely was going into the room guns blazing. Says he shot him thinking he was reaching for something. While understandable should have given it a second thought. Kid was still in your house chilling with your daughter while talking to you.
 
Can't even be mad at the dad. If I thought someone broke into my house I'm shooting first and asking questions later too.

You would shoot a girl bro? If Simone broke into my sons room I don't think id shoot. Probably throw some jabs or shake her up. Unless she looking like Queen Latifah in Set it Off

Haha, autocorrect. If any intruder broke into my house girl, guy, or anything between, I'm shooting. I'm assuming the worst out of the person and I'm not the one going to the hospital or worse. And if my child was home too? Naw, no chances

RIP. I hope her and her father have a rough life ahead of them.

It wasn't the young mans fault his daughters a how.
 
Something similar happened to a kid I went to jr high with. He was at his gf's house after school on a minimum day, they were getting busy, the dad comes home from work early to find him and his daughter naked in bed, she cried rape and the dad chased him out the house. Long story short, the police got involved but the girl eventually fessed up
 
Ehh, I really can't blame the dad.

Your son comes and tells you he saw someone hiding under your daughters bed (that alone would already have someone on edge). He calls the cops and then goes to check it out. His daughter claims to not know the person. Like, at that point, there really is no turning back. The girl claiming she didn't know him sealed that boy's faith.
 
SMDH @ the girl,had the pops thinking that her life was in danger and he was just trying to protect her. Hopefully she lives with the guilt forever,she got her dude killed because she was too scared to suffer consequences :{.

The video was heartbreaking especially when the boys Mom and friend were speaking |I
