Foye might not be able to run a team as efficiently as Livi, but I wouldn't say he "isn't that good."

When in the right place, he can be very efficient. As he showed in Minnesota. Everybody played poorly with the Wizards for the most part. IE Mike Miller.

So, what's the right place for Foye?  He shouldn't be a starter, and he shouldn't be a 6th man either.  The 13/5 he averaged doesn't tell the whole story.  He's not as good as advertised.  I argued with OKB till I was blue in the face when the trade for the #5 was made for Miller/Foye.  I was defending Foye, because I said he had a chance to really do some nice things in DC with consistent minutes.  In watching him over the course of the year, I saw nothing from him that suggests that he shouldn't be more than a 7th or 8th man off the bench.

The only gripe with Mike Miller is that he didn't shoot the ball more....

I am simply saying it is unfair to judge anyone on that Wizards team last year for how they performed. The team was out of whack all season and it was not a good working environment.

It is AMAZING that Mike Miller shot the ball so well last season considering he played with such a bad supporting cast. I am still scratching my head at that one.

I agree, Foye is a legit 7th/8th man in this league. Coming off the bench as a spark that is asked to do nothing but score is his ideal role.

OKB was telling me that Foye was fools gold when the deal was made....I didn't believe it, but Foye stinking up the joint last year affirmed what he was saying to me earlier.

As far as Mike Miller....he's the best shooter in the NBA.  I mean, he shot 50% from 2pt, and 48% from 3pt...that's INSANE.  Do you remember that 15 game stretch last year where he was shooting something like 57% from 3?  He's a team player almost to a fault.  He'll pass up an open shot to try to get someone else a bucket.  From that aspect, he was frustrating to watch last year.  He does so many things well on the offensive end of the floor.  Rebounding, passing...etc.  Dude can facilitate the offense in the half-court with ease.  I think he's very underrated and will be a GREAT fit in Miami.

Yea people remember that Mike Miller was almost like a point forward during his day @ FLorida. Handled the ball a lot. He is a very good player with a nice all around game. Not just a spot up shooter. Always have been a fan.

Are you referring to the game vs the d-league all stars?

if so, sam young scored 35 points too...the guys they played against were not even college stars.
