Inviting some friends for dinner. No turkey because we don't really eat turkey. Instead, we're preparing:

Italian Sausage, cherry tomatoes, spinach, and garlic pasta in a cream sauce.
Try-Tip
Lumpia for appetizers
Fried Chicken
Roasted veggies
Kahlua bundt cake
Sugar cookie, cream cheese, strawberry dessert

Should be a chill night.

I do want to experience a deep fried turkey though.

I bought an electric fryer two years ago and it's as good as advertised. Bird is done in 45 minutes (18lb). Crispy skin and juicy meat.

I’ve been unsuccessfully trying to get a few heads to do an early morning football game but oh well.

My job gave us these free turkey vouchers, I got a few of my coworkers to join in and we gave them to people who needed them more.

That said. Hope everyone on here has a good thanksgiving, and enjoy the day with whomever you’re close to.
