The DeAndre Jordan end of game fail gets more ridiculous every time I watch it. Seriously has to be one of the biggest gaffes ever in the any sport. He could have laid that ball in flatfooted and won the game.

The Rockets isn't that far off from dropping to the 7th seed

And yet they haven't, all season long. It's an optical illusion. Teams are close in win/loss but there are distinct tiers which is why the standings stay relatively the same. Dal/sas/okc are just not as good as gsw/mem/hou/pdx. Well okc is but we know the deal

Word? Whats causing the Steph slide down to fourth for you?
The media votes...and there's been a HUGE media push for Westbrook lately. ESPN brings it up everyday. Lebron is very quietly entering Lebron mode and the Cavs are very likely getting ready to push themselves right into that #1 seed. It's not that Curry hasn't played himself out of it...Russ and Bron just have a stronger momentum that's putting them in a bigger spotlight right now.
Good point.

The Spurs have been marred with injuries all season long. Their record is not indicative of how good the team is

Where are the Clippers? Do they have their own tier in the middle?

Bron would have the Cavs as the 8th seed out West too right now.

I would like to think the voters would be more progressive thinking but it doesn't seem that way from their past voting patterns. Maybe it changes this year.

Right now Hollinger has HOU projected at 53 wins and OKC at 47 which is them going 13-8 in their last 21. Seeding aside I don't believe it should be a determining factor if OKC does get to 50 wins especially coming from their 3-12 start, Russ would have basically carried them through to an identical record in still missing 15 games due to injury.

At 50 wins they'd have gone 47-20 with Russ in the lineup that's right in line with the top 4 seeds in the West.

Houston without dwight. Memphis without z_Bo and Conley hurting. Lma's thumb. Clippers without blake. It's a wash

Yes . Jekyl and Hyde team. Only squad that jumps from top to bottom 4 but normally in the bottom
