Says once source close to the talks: Phoenix has moved into a contending position alongside San Antonio in the LaMarcus Aldridge Sweepstakes
David Pick @IAmDPick
LaMarcus Aldridge will land a deal in San Antonio, a source said.

Wade believed to be mulling at least 2 Heat proposals tonight. One at/near max, allows for 2016 free agency. 2nd for multiple yrs/lower avg.
Mo signed with the Grizz?Memphis having a nice offseason so far. Mo Gotti and Wright are very good pick ups for them

With the cap spiking to a projected $108m in 2017, Paul Millsap would be eligible for a deal starting at $34m when he opts out that year.
Adrian Wojnarowski @WojYahooNBA
Yahoo Sources: Free agent forward Brandan Wright agrees to deal with the Memphis Grizzlies. yhoo.it/1gbPnGF
memphis with a great addition of wright, he was definitely gonna command more money. wonder why he signed for so little

He's from Nashville and loved the fact that he would be closer to home.

Sources: LaMarcus Aldridge is very likely to strike a deal with the San Antonio Spurs.
No Mo yet, but the rumor was that we were close to signing him. That's not happening anymore since we spent the MLE on Wright. It would probably be a S&T with Courtney Lee to the Hornets for Mo (which opens up PT for Adams). I still would like to go after Gallinari or Joe, though
Jeff Goodman @GoodmanESPN 1m
Carlos Boozer has received interest today from Spurs, Lakers, Heat and Clippers, sources told ESPN.
so the Heat deal was still more lucrative, no?That's why I was surprised Bosh didn't go there last year. I know Morey & company went into significant detail on how he'd fit in.Mike Bresnahan

Aldridge was floored in a good way by Houston's analytics, on-court projections in their presentation. Not so with the Lakers.
I guess he was tired of sacrificing money & shots
The difference in Bosh going to the Rockets and staying with the Heat was Riley tacking on 1 year and an extra 30 million that the Rockets couldn't give him. I would've stayed as well. He didn't sacrifice anything
He took 100+ million & 20 shots a night over 80 million & having to split touches with 2 other all stars hence why I said "sacrifice money & shots"
I'm well aware of the cap rules. The team you were previously with gets to give you higher annual raises & another year aka more money. So you have to sacrifice money to leave, period.
