My sentiments exactly
If you're a fan of a team on the rise or a team that will be fighting for a playoff spot.. it's cool to see your team get the spotlight for once. The Jazz, for example, aren't really talked about on ESPN or TNT a lot other than Gobert. So for their fans, it's probably cool to see their team on national television three times so they can get some attention.
As for the elite teams? Maybe it's just bragging rights to be on TV that much, or it's still cool to have your team get discussed by the Inside the NBA crew or get that Sunday ABC spotlight.
And then you have fans, like myself, who don't live in their team's home market or who don't buy League Pass. So really the only time I get to see the Knicks are when they play on ABC/ESPN/TNT or when they play the Magic.
I love Kobe, but people are really trying to defend Lakers having so many national TV games?
Because Bob Fitzgerald is one of the worst home announcers. Though yes above Reggie Miller
The only worse national tv color guy than Reggie is Jon Barry.
I want year round locker room access of that team, mic'ed and uncensored.Y'all don't wanna see Kobe's reactions while the Lakers get washed? The Lakers are one of the few teams who can lose terribly and entertain you
Why in Gods name are they showing the Lakers vs the clippers on Christmas.
Lakers! Playoff bound best believe!
Cant believe you're interested in watching that.Cant believe you even asked that
Byron Scott should wipe out all the faith by himself.
