Money was the issue with Iam Athlete, Math show and Joe's. Don't know who's right or wrong but it's like we boys so let's do a podcast then the money comes and **** go left.

The prevalent issue is that podcasts cost money to run and they also don’t bring in a ton of money. Which is why a lot of these attempts at self ran networks don’t work all that well.

Adam had the Tyler Perry studio for podcast when all of that isn't necessary, unless you try to run a podcast studio operation where you rent it out to others.
Spotify has that, but it's well Spotify, and they have money to blow and have invested millions in podcast.

I always viewed him as taking pieces from Vlad and Stern.
You can't build a network or grow past a certain level while doing porn and managing porn chicks. Even if it's more mainstream now there's always gonna be ceiling. Even with him trying switch things up he's still gonna be in a box.

I think he was trying to build up a network hoping to get a bag from like how Barstool and Ringer got form Penn Entertainment and Spotify.
but the difference is that theirs was based around sports and more than just podding. It's easy to incorporate gambling.
and we see with Portnoy, Adam with his history that bag was going to be difficult, because a lot of his skeletons are already out.
Adam grew too fast, a $5 million dollar studio isn't necessary for podding. One of the benefits of podding is supposed to be low overhead. How much ad revenue are you attracting that can pay all these salaries? YT keeps trying to cut into what people make., because they have no competition. I think now he's chasing views and anything that will attract attention and get money for his channel.

He started talking about getting a big studio/building after he went to visit Nick Cannon at his Ncredible Ent HQ and how much he aspired to upgrading to something like that for NJ. From what all the ex NJ on air talent have revealed, its not like he was paying them much. He was very in that Vince Mcmahon/Dana White/Haim Saban model of underpaying his talent. I mean unless he really started putting a bunch of security on the payroll after he got shook from Russ having him touched that 1 time. He's the 1 that was saying he was bringing in $2mil/month

Talking about messing up the bag . Podcast teams are like rap and R&B groups. Desus and Mero probably will be doing more work behind the scenes as writers.
