I remember when Chigs vids use to show up in my algorithm and I thought he was just reporting on pod eps and summing up their takes. Took me like 3 vids in noticing vid titles and all the extra gossiping and speculation that dude was just making **** up about things I don’t care about.

Lenard’s breakfast club donkey of the day vid popped up where he plays Roland’s clip saying he’s spread misinformation about the shutdown and then his response just goes on and on about what he said ignoring that he’s talking about misinformation about what the shutdown is about.I couldn’t even finish the vid cuz he seemed to be burying what dude said and focus on that one point with like a 15 min vid.

I saw the headline of Roland's original video and saw someone else talking about Charlamagne and SAS but didn't care enough to watch. When he named Roland of all people donkey of the day I had to backtrack. I find Roland pretty harmless, so out of all people Roland Martin? You're using your platform for personal attacks now?
Then when he put the news reporter as some sort of support totally ignoring everything else Roland was saying.
He must think TBC audience is really stupid and poor. The Republicans have wanted to push the blame on the Dems, and here comes Charlamagne to save the day.

You overestimate her popularity. She was pretty to look at 20 years ago. Still is but that don’t translate to pod views when she already got an IG.

That's what I was getting at when I asked rhetorically who is her audience.
Even her Malcolm pod didn't have a lot of views.
Being half naked to promote your new season of your pod is weird. It's like she knows no other way to promote herself, but then at the same time wants to be thought of as something more.

Having ctg on her pod just reads as some dirty tactic. I don’t even rock with Joe’s podcast too heavy, but I know dude platformed her for a good minute.

Her marketing seems for men, "the male gaze" as she says, but her primary audience would seem to be women (at first). I'm sure some of those early menopause pods were helpful for other women going through it. But yeah it doesn't seem focused other than it's me Mel.

What's most likely the case is that Mel was tired of the "dogpiling" and not really having a voice on the pod. She just didn't fit.

I clown on buddy page as well, but I believe him.
Not on everything. He obviously speculates more often than he's sharing inside info, but buddy puts too much energy into the JBP to not think he's connected SOME dots.
I think its very likely Mel did give Joe an ultimatum demanding he choose between her and Flip. And I absolutely see Joe playing that situation out by choosing neither. Dont give her any power at all plus also dont show favor.
The rest of that **** I'm taking with a grain of salt. But Mel leaving? I think he nailed that.
For the record, Flip kind of hinted at this being the case a while back...during an intro, he said something to the affect of the fans are going to be pissed that you chose this fat mf'er.

I was speculating buddy was on the payroll a while back. Think I may have posted that here as well. He either brings new eyes to the pod or he keeps fans engaged and sticking around for more. That channel is doing Joe's work for him. Joe would be foolish not to make sure buddy stays around and committed to reporting on the JBP.
Had that thought prior to him appearing on one of the Marc and Ian episodes. Im now fully convinced he's on the payroll.
With that in mind, he's sharing tea...but only approved tea. He cant share everything...and I doubt he knows "everything."

E and Marc talk to him a lot. He knows some stuff. Both Joe and Flip was making jokes about women knowing ways to get out their contract and Flip said something to Mona about "I made the mistake of calling somebody else sister".
It sounds like Mel all day. She lives for playing the victim. She's still running with that "those men were bad to me" narrative in the clip with CTG.
