The Combat Jack Show Thread

Parks and Rory was sounding real PC in that discussion. What Tyreek Hill was doing was foul to a 3 year old but it's nothing for a father to drill his 13-18 year old son in the chest for getting outta line.

Exactly. Actin' like sons haven't had they attitudes adjusted by they pops bringin' them back to reality.
Mal talkin' about how something is abuse and is so bad then says he got his a** beat as a kid but that was different.

I was turned off by that discussion the time I heard Joe give the excuse when Tyreek said you should be afraid of me too. No, normal guys don't say that sort of stuff. But we can see the types of relationships Joe has had, and why he has had some of the drama with women.

Joe might want to read about Tyreek's history. It's the same chick from when she was pregnant. So she has every reason to be scared of him.

I also didn't understand the, I'm going to spank/beat my son, but not my daughter.

I see both sides of it. I wasn't really spanked or beaten. I had other punishments like chores and not being able to go outside or watch tv/video games. Having to stay inside bored was far worse to me.

When I did get it, I can look back on it and say yeah, I deserved that. But I can't think of more than three or four times.

There is a moment when you start feeling yourself as a pre-teen or teenager and you have to be checked.

I remembered a couple of times when I knew I was going to get in trouble staying out all night, and I just got the just let me know where you are and where you're going.

Men say that because when they think about spankin'/whoopin' they daughters they thinkin about full out slave whippin' and nothing else. I got two girls, I spank/pop/pinch both of em. I'm not delegating disciplin' my girls to my wife, that's not how my flavor of parenting works.
But of course things look differently when you don't have kids, once you get em you realize ya math was off beforehand

I appreciate every whoopin' I got, even the ones I didn't deserve. Helped me either get sneakier or avoid making bad decisions.
My son now gets lazy with his chores every now and again and no tv or no phone don't really bother him. We try not to resort to physical discipline but I do believe he is smellin' himself a lil bit thinkin' ish is sweet. He just turned 13 so it's about that time

It's certain things in this new PC culture I'm just not buying into. Like do bad *** kids not exist anymore? :lol

All of a sudden that timeout stuff has to be universal. That's why white kids run their parents a lot of times. Especially the mothers. They sounded outraged about the example of when the father whipped his 15 year old daughter for twerkin in the internet. That definitely deserves some discipline. The father probably had talks with the girl the past about that.

Mal acted like seein' your 15 year old daughter on social media in a thong is no big deal. Ain't no way Imma have a diplomatic conversation with either of my girls like that, and my wife is for SURE gonna go at the neck.

I will agree with Joe that there's a need to not discipline ya kids the same way we were, but I think the main difference needs to be communication. We used to get a whoopins and not really understand the depth of the trouble we were in. Now we try to make sure anything we get our kids for we explain why it's happening so they are associating bad behavior with a whoopin' and not us as people

What do you mean you don't understand not wanting to spank your daughter? Men view there daughters as princesses and all that and just can't see themselves harming a girl, let alone their daughter. That's very common for the male to not want to whoop the daughter. Like very common.

Why has this thread turned into nitpicking over the slightest **** they say?

So instead you nitpick what we say

Read what iamdef iamdef wrote. I don't spank, but if I did, I would do both.

Might almost be mandatory if you still wanna maintain some control. ****** start wildin, mama's baby now all of a sudden talking out the side of their neck to mama.

This Blueprint 2 breakdown got me in tears.

They call me this misogynist yeah fam you lost

Cuz a ***** wear a koofi it don’t mean that he nice

Blueprint 2 one of my favorite Hov tracks though. I said it before that that exchange would’ve panned out different if we got BP2 as a direct response to Ether. :smh:

I haven't heard the pod yet, but Jay was definitely salty when he made Blueprint 2.

You gotta be real mad to claim people helped a ***** cheat in a rap battle.

It sounds like he was trying to convince everyone that they were wrong and to reconsider because Nas wears a kufi. 'Just means you don't understand all the ******** that he writes' always sounded super corny to me. Song is fire, but man is he whining.

Hook was bad. And the beat on Super Ugly was bad. I hated that Dre song. I think that's one of the main reasons a lot of people didn't like it.

Jay seemed angry at the public to me. Because I felt the same way. Facts always meant more than calling someone ugly to me.
