Uzi's too young to care about what the OG's think about him. He's concerned with riding the wave he's on. Just so happens that wave takes you to Atlanta. I don't see dude caring about "his sound" enough at this point. Maybe if he's somehow able to sustain and carve a niche for himself when he gets older, the fact that he's no considered a Philly rapper will get to him. But right now... that kid doesn't give a damn. He's making money in this generation and that's probably good enough for him.
. With that being said,
.
Too much sauce is song of the summer though.

Is that what we calling it now?he never struck me as being fruity.. He just looks weird ... Like a lot of young dudes coming up do
Said the same thing. You're my wife/the mother of my kids and you're on a podcast talking brazy about sucking another off and playing with his a-hole? No man should be cool with that. Brent Grimes taking an L for that one.

Calling what?
Don't think he's homosexual lol But even if he is I don't care . He's not rapping about it , doesn't bother me.

I Get where a lot of OG's are coming from, but **** the aesthetic i'm more concerned with the music and that's where a lot of the music being promoted lacks. by the day more and more artist are being pushed who's music just ain't gonna be relevant a few years from now.
If i'm talkin trap (which seems to be the go to sound in rap these days), the last two to come out of that who i think have created music that will last is Future & 2 Chainz.. anything that has come after those two waves in that niche sound are disposable as **** and interchangeable parts.
Kodak is NOTHING like the this new wave of dudes like Yachty, Lil Uzi, Rich The Kid.100% agree with everything except besides the Future and 2Chainz. I just don't think their music will be anything in a few years.
Maybe with the exception of Future's DS2 which is pretty ground breaking in the sound department.
But your right, these artist are completely terrible and the media outlets who are dying are trying to lift up these artist
who don't even need their help. These wack artist are actually helping out the media outlets more than they are
helping the artist at this point.
When I look at the hype of an artist like Kodak Black, and really listen to his lyrics I'm completely lost at what
potential he has. Every artist being pushed in that form of music sounds exactly like him, looks like him,
is ignorant like him, and will be in jail like him. It's pretty mind blowing, and crazy the older generation
only understands this.
The freestyles from the current XXL cover was pathetic. That is a nutshell sums up mainstream "hiphop" at
the moment.

Not aesthetically, not lyrically, not content wise...absolutely nothing.

But is Kodak as dope as people are making him out to be? From what I'm hearing...nah
