The Combat Jack Show Thread

Yeah but people make being emotional like it's always a bad thing. He made honest questions in his feelings and Channing answered them and let me know he's really bout his business. Made for a good interview to me because I learned more about Channing than someone pretending not to care or being cordial.

Channing even acknowledged it, "70% of this interview is me"

I understand Channing's point but he did radio/tv and no one knew who he was before I Am Athlete. His personality is able to shine through because of the contrast with the other guys. Chad has a bigger following than all of them combined so thinking he can get a cut equal/similar to him or the guy who created the platform is stupid.

Not true… if you’re football fan in your late 20s or 30s, you know Channing. Maybe I’m different because I’m a huge football fan and live in Florida. (I’ve followed him since his UF Days and Dolphins days).

Bottom line, Brandon Marahall isn’t funny, he’s emotional and just all an all around dunce. It’s a reason he didn’t last on CBS.

A lot of people gave him sympathy because of his depression and the fact that he came out and talked about it, when it was taboo as an athlete.

But I see right through him.

Channing >>>> B Marahall and it ain’t close

It’s stupid to for him to get equal cut? That’s EXACTLY why they left and made their own. Channing stood out amongst those guys even though he is “lesser” none. Him, Fred and Ryan are just better IMO.

Nobody wants to see Brandon Marshall cackle and cry all the times. He’s also ignorant in a lot of areas.

Again, Brandon might’ve been popular amongst casual fans but as far as the content that was created? He was LAST in the park as far as commentary. So again, Channing and Fred knew their value and hauled ***.

Channing might’ve been “unknown” but BMarshall definitely capitalized off Channing’s presence and contributions, which generated him money. So again, I helped you make money knowing my value, then you tried to keep us out of the loop when it came to the books? Cool, I’m out then.

It sounds like you didn't actually comprehend what I wrote and just wanted share your thoughts on Brandon like you've done many times.

It's Brandon's company so he put it together and presumably put up money for location/production/staff etc. and put together deals. That isn't an equal contribution to people who showed up and talked. Chad is the most most popular...by far. He brings more to the table in that regard so the splits aren't equal.

Take your opinions/feelings out of the equation. We know what you think about Brandon which and podcast you prefer.

Not denying that Brandon put the money up for the production crew and whatnot.
You can’t fault Channing and Fred for realizing the value that they possessed. They made the decision to up and leave, and create their own platform.

Like I said, he put the capital up. No one is arguing or disagreeing. Chad has taken a break from “I Am Athlete” anyway. Pac-Man LeSean McCoy, and Omar Kelly (who works for Sun Sentinel) have also been substitutes.

Again, BMarshall put the money up, yes. Fred and Channing understood this, realized they had more value and started their own with Ryan Clark. It’s all good.

For instance, Bruce McLaren use to drive for the Cooper Car Company… eventually started his own car brand, McLaren…

Plenty people have worked for other people, then branched off and did their thing. That’s Channing’s point. Like okay, cool. Brandon put up the capital. They realized that they were valuable and could do their own thing, which is what happened. The end.

But you just argued for Channing making equal because you like him more.

That's like saying a artist should get equal as the record label owner.

This ain’t the record business though. Channing and Fred REALIZED they were worth more. They weren’t bound by a contract. Again, they had the ability to leave, and they did as such.

This is completely different then a label. They all basically were investors/venture capitalists. I’m sure all four of those guys all have over 100k each somewhere. It’s different than a record exec who has multi millions who actually is signing or searching for acts.

Channing and Fred weren’t under any contract. They realized that they could do it WITHOUT Brandon… and moved on. It’s that simple. They created their own. I’m sure he solicited Channing and Fred because he knows he’s not an interesting person… he needed them, just as much as they might’ve needed him

There’s nothing wrong with cutting ties from someone when you know your value and worth. It’s that simple. That’s exactly what they did.

There's over 100 linebackers in the NFL, who the hell would know Channing Tatum?

How many fans could even identify Von Miller without his helmet?

Joe and Ish and the Mase debate.

As I've been saying, Mase is the wrong one to be going after Puff for money.

Dude ran to Atlanta right before his second album was released. It was one single for the album. He got the standard new contract and a new advance after Harlem World and then didn't produce. Dude was ****** up for the second album mentally and Puff even had ghostwriters for him trying to get a decent album out. He used the preacher thing to run off with the bag.

And if Mase had anything, lawyers would have stepped in a long time ago. I think the issue is that Mase probably can't release music without Puff, because of the contract and he's trying to get out of that.

 Yayo said he showed up an hour early and just scoped everything before the shop was open. Real ptsd.

Yayo was corny for that

Basically saying “I said what I said don’t try to defend yourself that’s disrespectful” :lol and then instantly tryna make it seem like Hynaken was tryna get tough by saying “you can’t do that” :lol “aight let’s move on” off a topic he brought up :lol dude is a master spin artist. Hynaken shoulda let it go left right then and there I hate that he gave in lol

Yayo is WILD annoying :lol::smh:

Them ****** didn't talk about **** for a whole 2 hours and this ***** found a way to "praise 50" every 62 seconds.

"Yayo...you don't ever get scared"

"Shotout to 50, he a real *****...took a ***** to Paris...caviar pancakes...bulletproof trucks...caviar caviar"
