The Combat Jack Show Thread

If a grown woman can’t get her own Ubers then you shouldn’t be with her…Only desperate dudes and ones that are not used to attractive woman put up with the kind of scenario described in the clip

And on the other end shorty obviously using yo, she don’t rock with him…Don’t even wanna go back home 4real after a night out :lol :{

Whole thing is weird. I realized he wants it that way. It seems like the stereotypical reason older dudes get with younger women. For control. Shorty is dependent on him. She has three kids and she moved them in. Baby daddy in jail. Three kids has her tied down, so the thinks.

He made some comment before like they basically always go out together. Not realizing, that little incident tells you that's not her preference. She did the, I lost track of time thing like I did when I was 12. That's how you act when you're not used to going out and don't want to go back home to your parents house.

The couple times my girl went out past 11 she called ME to say she on her way and stay on the phone and we don't live together.

Him and his girl been together a couple years right? She should know protocol and it shouldn't be forced she just do it out of respect.

That's normally how it's done. He's treating his girl like a child.

More like you don't trust her and she's dependent on you.

I know more about his relationship than I know about Ish's or Parks, because every time a clip of them is posted a red flag pops up in my head that I remember.

Shorty can't drive, because she keeps getting in accidents. You have to drive her everywhere or get her Uber's. You don't trust her to get her own Uber, because you can't track where she is :smh:
See now this what I expected out of the Diddy trial :lol

Why she ain’t got no whip though? :lol :lol

I’m assuming they in the NYC area so you can get by without a whip….But once you past like 12 you should be able to figure out a way home ON YOUR OWN :lol

So she either a bum or Ice trying to run **** with an iron fist and trying to take care of everything for whatever reason…Most likely both

I think I saw the reddit post his bm, and to be fair she looked better than you think he could pull.

Ish is definitely trying to get his licks back with Marc. Not telling the whole truth to your wife is pandering  and then not getting, he was misusing the word. Ish needs to get off the internet, because he acts like people do with the new word of the day when they start misusing a word they just learned.

I really hate when dudes have insincere arguments. I'm going to show you he panders, see

I think you're right on the Ish front about him wanting to get his **** back off Marc, but I do like his approach. At least on this episode. He's not forcing it...he's letting it happen naturally.

He used pander wrong, sure, but I thought his overall point was fair. I don't know if it was right/I agree with it. I'm definitely more of the Marc mindset where just because I think something or want something, that doesn't mean I think it's okay or right to share the opinion unabashed. But I liked ish's point about how it's not true to self...and to bring it all home Joe later goes on to say if you can't be true with your spouse then who can you be true with.

The thing that stuck out most to me about that segment was the Marc and Joe dynamic for lack of a better word.

Marc seems to have an issue when people don't think he's right. And he will make his point in every which way that he can until he can get the other person to acknowledge the truth/correctness in his POV.

Joe recognized that and was able to shift it from an argument into a flowing conversation. It was a fun watch.

It was a semantics argument.

Everyone techincally "lies" to their wife. Like how memes went around when women ask, how do I look in this. Sometimes you tell the truth. Am I gaining weight. 🤷‍♂️ It's a risk reward answer and is the truth necessary in this instance.

I think Marc was frustrated, because you're in a relationship, so you know all men don't tell the complete truth at all times. So why are you trying this gotcha moment with this. That was my reaction also.

I don’t think not telling the complete truth in all instances isn’t being true to yourself. We have societal norms that call for you not to say exactly what you’re thinking or what is “true” in all circumstances. Which is partly why young kids are funny when they are so blunt or spill the beans on things because these are norms that you learn with age. Also why some people on the spectrum for example struggle to have relationships because if you ask them how you look, and you look like ****, then they may tell you that instead of following our norms because their brains don’t function that way.

You right, for sure.

In that specific instance though, I agree with the idea that situatuon is a good time to be open and honest. And to not do that is a disservice to yourself.
