Legacy doesn’t matter in this era. I wish more people would come to grips with it. It’s all about the cheese. People don’t care about past sports or music greats, damn sure ain’t concerned about their contemporaries.
This isn’t the era of the “Four Kings”. Dudes have to fight what’s out there. That’s the bottom line
I see Riddick Bowe and I get it. I see Evander Holyfield and I get it.
but if the boxers don't take it seriously, why should the fans? Boxing is dying as an American sport. Less people are participating in it, and instead they're going to MMA. It's no longer going to be on ESPN, because the Top Tank deal expired. I'm sure Keyshawn antics missing weight and the dust up didn't make ESPN regret anything. We can't even get an american heavyweight and they're the ones who really draw the money.
UFC is saying something when it's moving away from the pay per view model. WWE also. Who's going to pay $80 for a fight when they aren't building the fighters up?
Boxing used to be on regular TV and then it was on cable and premium, and now Saudi sport
