I thought i saw or read somewhere that Joe commented about Mel's time off and said "it should be good for her". When I saw that, I definitely thought she got suspended.

That was the same episode where they were talking about past/overcoming addictions and Mel said she never had any lol. Essentially, Mel got suspended cuz she wouldn't admit she was an alcoholic lmfao.
