I think the situation is receiving this much backlash because of the wife’s brash approach to sharing her past with the internet, and Akash’s previous commentary on other couples’ relationships. People usually enter into relationships blissfully unaware of their partner’s previous dalliances, and (I’d argue) in most cases are content with living in that ignorance; what’s in the past is in the past.
What I believe to be the internet’s point of contention comes with the fact that Akash has historically spoken on the relationships of others in a less than flattering, and quite frankly condescending way; he’s thrown stones while living in a glass house. So to your initial idea, sure a lot of men probably live the same existence. But a lot of men also don’t have the platform to amplify certain messages in the way he does.
You can’t talk cash money **** about Will and Jada while your girl is out here boasting about popping ***** in white boy frat houses, and somehow dodging your affection like it’s the plague. That, no matter how you spin it (or “what if” it) is sucker ****.
ahhh, ok makes sense now…yea that will do it, didn’t know man was known for speaking on other folks relationships…
