Dude loses any shot of redemption if they try to throw the comedic slant on this. Those obnoxious (and painfully fake) laughs won’t cut it. Wife’s been embarrassing him for over a month. Dude’s been getting lit up for a month. The internet lays in even further if he trying to come back with jokes and insincerity.

man is a real life comedian (on a podcast with other comedians), how else would he address this
…realistically what could he say that would make what his ol’ lady been yapping seem even remotely palatable, what redemption can man really get tho? at the end of the day (the day gon’ end) that’s his wife, the ‘internet’ is just speculating on they what they got going on; best thing he could do do is take his L & turn try to turn it into a good bit for the stage

I’m not sure if you actually watch/listen to that podcast, so let me rephrase. If they only throw a comedic slant on this, it won’t be a good look. Of course the jokes are a given because they’re comedians. But the times that I’ve listened, I’ve heard them being critical about several individuals and topics on their platform. To simply give dude a pass and write it off as just jokes (after Singh himself has given scathing critiques on others and flat out lying about his wife) would be incredibly disingenuous, and the commentary and criticism won’t go away for the guy.

i’m familiar with them but haven’t watched them in a good minute…sure it won’t all be jokes, i’d expect there will be some candid talk about the give & take of marriage/relationship perhaps even acknowledgement of his prior commentary/critiques but i’s imagine it will mostly be jokes about the online jokes & them all being run by their wives
given that the seeming (online) opinion of him is so negative is there really any amount of contrition he could admit to/show that is going change that or even put a chill to the ridicule?

I've been hearing about this Akaash stuff, and it looks really bad, but tbh I can see how this happens.
there's this archetype you see with college educated women who come from immigrant backgrounds...
they grew up in conservative families, but they want to fit in with progressive white women social groups.
so they overcompensates for this by overusing African American vernacular, gay black male slang/affect and talking a big game about how liberated and sexually free they are.
while really being conservative/prudish.
i remember back in college my friend was working with the campus feminist organizations and there were lots of girls like this. they talk big **** about sex, and men ect,
but then you hear about what actually goes on its clear they are super sheltered/conservative
it can seem weird as a man, but in these circles kind of preformative bragging about being way more sexually liberated than you actually are is seen as high status. hence the success of shows like Call Her Daddy.
So i actually think its possible Akkash wife is basically telling the truth about all this.
