Ain’t no escus. Karl knew exactly what he was doing, I wI’ll say, things were a little different in not a good way. No excuse for scumbag Karl. We can’t on one end, recall days of our youth of older dudes (including dudes out of high school and in college)…..preying on the girls in our middle and high schools. And it being a thing. And acting like it wasn’t a thing that was kind of frowned on a bit, but accepted to a degree. R Kelly was an open secret my whole entire life. Tbh, society at large is kind of okay with it. I mean, just LOOK at who runs our country. Playboy. Countdown to 18 culture (Olsen twins). Them boy bands and even Chris stokes. Hollywood. Religion. It’s rampant.
Pretty much, society in the 80s, 90s and early 00s didn’t deem what Karl Malone did to be so bad to overshadow his talent. And that’s the sad reality (that we even face today. Talented, powerful, wealthy, popular and attracted people get the benefit of the doubt for as long as possible, until sentiment changes.)
On the converse, I’m starting to see people call every age gap + 5 years “predatory” or manipulative. Obviously that’s on the way smaller scale, but just some interesting trends I’ve been seeing on this topic.

A person under 18 will NOT have the same life experience and exposure of someone in their 20s, 30s or 40+. It’s the wackest excuse ever.
Grown men and women out here with the BS. If you need to ask for ID or if that person doesn’t even have a drivers license or Identification, it’s a red flag. It’s a mindset that sickens me.
Every time I hear dudes say a girl “lied about their age or looked older” it pisses me off.
A grown adult has absolutely NOTHING in common with a minor. Nothing.

What if she was 14/15 and her first kids father was also 14/15…. Could’ve been two minors. Can’t assume her first kids father wasn’t the same age as her.

You can tell a 13 yr old no matter what age they tell you or fake ID. If her already having a kid is true that makes you worse, you were predatory to someone already victimized. Nasty convo to start with "I change my stance".
